Currently, OpenClassrooms Diplomas are recognized by the French state as we are a certified, state-recognized educational institute in France. Obtaining a formal diploma like those offered by OpenClassrooms can show employers that you are both qualified and committed to developing new skills related to this industry. Within each Path page, you can learn if your Path is recognized on the French Qualifications Network (RCNP), as many of our Paths are. You will graduate with a diploma and a professional portfolio showcasing the projects that you created on your Path. During interviews, you will be able to demonstrate the skills you have mastered.
Local Recognition
Each locality may have their own rules for recognizing French diplomas. Fortunately, in many jurisdictions you will be able to apply to have your diploma recognized locally as well as internationally. To do this, you can reach out to the local French Embassy for help in determining the best approach. Often they will recommend having your diploma translated into the destination language by a sworn translator. Doing so will allow it to be validated by local institutions. Some countries offer equivalences with French diplomas, for example. This may be also coordinated by your employer so be sure to ask for information if you are offered a new position.
Industry Recognition
Our students have used OpenClassrooms diplomas to find work all around the world. The recognition of the French state helps, but employers tend to be impressed by the quality of our programs, the range of realistic projects produced by our students, the enthusiasm of our alumni, and the partnerships we have formed with major tech companies. As a result, employers around the world view our diplomas as evidence of your commitment to the training and quality necessary to do well at their company. This relationship with employers has allowed us to offer our Job Guarantee.
Depending on your selected Path, the diploma will be an Associate’s level, Bachelor’s level, or Master’s level. This would be equivalent to Level 5-7 on the European Qualifications Framework. We are a certified, state-recognized educational institute in France. Therefore, most companies treat our work in a similar way they would treat other international diplomas. They may ask for more information about the skills you attained, the projects you have completed, and the courses you took in order to fully understand what you did during your time in the program. The rigor of our Path Design allows businesses around the world to value the portfolios produced by OpenClassrooms students.
A Global Diploma
Our Paths are international by design and come with a Job Guarantee that you can use throughout the world, so long as you are legally allowed to work in the area where you apply for employment. You can use your diploma and portfolio when applying for jobs. This will enable you to present a clean list of your proficiencies and achievements. Most of all, using the project portfolio will allow all future employers to interview you with a clear understanding of your training and experience for their open position.
