Once you have selected your program, simply subscribe to gain immediate access to your diploma program.
The operation of the training is relatively simple but not necessarily intuitive if you are used to traditional training.
- Your program is made of projects built around real-world work scenarios and based on relevant competencies.
- To succeed in your training, you will be assessed on the skills acquired for your profession.
Your dashboard will display, in addition to the courses you follow, the specific projects for the chosen course. You can start to discover your first project, it is the one that appears at the top of the list.
Once your mentor is assigned and your mentoring sessions started, you will also see these items on your dashboard.
Upon your subscription, our team selects a mentor to accompany you during your training. Within 72 hours maximum, you will receive an email from your mentor to schedule the first session. Mentoring sessions will be conducted via video conferencing.
In the meantime, do not hesitate to start the courses related to your first project in order to be ready for this first session.
What to expect in your first mentoring session:
This session aims, first of all, to get to know you, to discover your professional aspirations as well as all the practical details (hours of availability, the difference of time zones, need of arranging particular means of work etc.) necessary to set up your schedule. If you have questions about your program, it's a good time to ask them.
After this discovery session, you will have a weekly meeting with your mentor to see how you are doing with your projects. What difficulties have you encountered? Have you made progress on your project? If so, are you ready for validation? If no, have you started taking the recommended courses to upgrade your skills?
Be careful, your mentor is not there to do your work for you, your mentor will help you understand what is wrong and accompanies you in your progress. He reads your code for example and points out your areas of improvement as the progress you have made.
As soon as you reach the end of a project, if your mentor thinks that it is solid, you will pass your defense, that is to say, that you will defend your project, facing a validator mentor. For more objectivity, it is an expert who does not know you who evaluates your work.
If the defense is successful, congratulations! Otherwise, do not worry, the validator mentor gives you the list of elements to rework to validate it next time.
Congratulations, you have completed all your projects! Once your projects are completed, the jury will meet to evaluate your work and assess your progress. The jury will watch recordings of your validation sessions and check the deliverables you provided with your projects. It is the jury's duty to validate competencies and award diplomas. No action is required by you, everything is 100% online and your presence is not required.
Generally, if your projects are all validated, your profile will be processed for graduation. If the jury identifies discrepancies in your profile, which is rare, you will be notified. In this case, there is no need to repeat the course, you just need to rework the problematic elements to rewrite a defense.
