Critical to lifelong learning is collaborating with others. Colleagues at school, at work, and in your local communities have plenty to offer in sharing resources, tips, lessons learned, and strategies for success. At OpenClassrooms, we have a few strategies you may consider as a method for collaborating with peers.
It all begins on Slack! Premium Plus students have the advantage of collaborating with students on Slack, our online community. You can:
- Arrange for virtual meet-ups or plan a live video call to study with someone else
- Share your best practices and favorite resources by posting a status or sharing a web address.
- Learn from others by seeing what they share, streamlining your learning, and improving the efficiency of your skills mastery.
- Publish a post to a group within Slack asking for a “study buddy.”
You may have replies offering to begin meeting, or you may hear from a group of students who have already created a regular virtual meeting where they share their successes, ask for advice in areas of struggle, or identify useful resources to help make learning easier. Some students even create groups outside of OpenClassrooms to collaborate with learners from around the world.
You should have received an invitation to validate your Slack account when you first signed up for your Premium Plus account. Click here for more information
The more active you are on Slack, the more likely you will reap the benefit of creating contacts through that program and hearing from other students, mentors, and OpenClassrooms employees. So make the most of your Premium Plus account by contributing to your Slack community!
