When you are ready to defend your project, it is easy to schedule your project assessment with an assessor.
When your mentor considers that you are ready to present your project, they will select the “Allow to schedule” button, which allows you to schedule in your project presentation. You will be notified by email that you are ready to present your project and that you can now book an assessment session.
In the ‘Assessment’ tab of your project, you will then find a ‘Schedule Presentation’ button.
To pick a presentation date, click on the "Schedule presentation" button. Please note that you need to have a profile picture uploaded before you will be allowed to schedule your presentation. This is so that the assessor can verify who you are on the video presentation. Find out how to add your profile picture.
The presentation date picker opens up, where you can see all the presentation times that are available according to the availability of our assessors. We recommend planning your project presentation 2 weeks in advance to give yourself time to finish preparing and upload your deliverables. If you are ready before the assessment date, you can ask your mentor to place you on the next project so you may work ahead while waiting for present your previous project to the assessor.
You can book a project presentation date up to 48 hours before, however this should be at the very latest and only when circumstances have prevented you from planning further ahead.
By default, you will be able to see the first 5 days where presentation times are available. You can load more times by clicking on the "See more times" button for up to 4 weeks in advance.
To select a presentation date, click on a time and then confirm your choice by clicking on the "Book this slot" button on the top right of the screen.
You can see the presentation dates in your current timezone by default, but you can also change it to a different one. If no times are available, please contact us.
Once the presentation date has been selected, the system will randomly select an appropriate assessor for your presentation. You will then be redirected to the assessment tab where you can see the date/time of your presentation and the assigned assessor. You will receive an email to inform you that a presentation has been booked and to give you the assessor's contact details in case you need to reach out to them. There’s nothing further that you need to do. Make sure that you upload your project deliverables at least 48 hours in advance, and that you attend the assessment on time.
Note: If you don't validate the project in your first try, don't panic! In this case, you'll need to contact your assessor so they can book a second assessment session.
Good luck!
